Saga is out of our very own home bred Hawk and AvaMax, and she captured my heart from the moment she was born. She had his special aura about her that some puppies do. They draw you in and make you fall in love with them right away. Her silly, easy going and soft personality compliment her stunning physical attributes. She has the most gorgeous bone, feet, and waving plume tail which are so iconic of this breed. She's so well balanced and actually reminds me very much of her Daddy Hawk, and grandma Sophia. We are very excited about this beautiful girls future, which we know is so very bright. It's just a shame she's missed out on the Baby Puppy stage of shows due to Covid, but we have no doubt she has a long career ahead of her on both sides of the border.

Saga was able to make it out to one show in September 2021 between lock downs and postponed shows. In that one weekend she started her Canadian Championship, and also won Multiple Best Puppy In Groups, which would later garner her the title of #1 Alaskan Malamute Puppy In Canada for 2021. She then took some time off to mature a bit before coming back out to shows in 2022 to finish her Canadian Championship with ease. She also attended the US American National in Colorado where she competed in a very strong open bitch class and placed 2nd.

In January 2024 Saga obtained her American Championship in only 2.5 days in St Paul, MN. She went Best Of Opposite over Specials, including the #1 Alaskan Malamute Bitch in the US in 2023, Winners Bitch and Best Of Winners for several 5 point majors to obtain her Championship in style in a big entry of Malamutes at the show which held 2 Specialties and 3 All Breed Shows. Her movement, breed type and temperament are exceptional and we received so many compliments from judges and other exhibitors. We are so proud of our special girl! These wins, in just this one weekend in the USA, ensured Saga qualified for the Top 20 Alaskan Malamutes in the USA!

Saga showed for only 3 weekends in Canada this year, and in that time was able to become the #1 Alaskan Malamute in Canada, and #2 Alaskan Malamute Overall! She also won a big Best In Specialty Show at the Alaskan Malamute Club of Canada Regional Specialty held in conjunction with the National! We could not be more thrilled with our girl.
